THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE OUTSIDE WORLD ON THE 23RD.
So, experiencing art online is kinda crap for analog work, the color shifts and resolution of the art via a myriad of screens makes it a shit-shoot to what people are seeing. Combine that with the size issue; what can be a small 20cm painting essentially looks the same as a 100cm painting on a screen, the juxtaposition of size you can get from the physical showing is totally lost.
But aside from that at least it’s something, a statement of works blah blah; as some of you may know my paintings are snapshots of a story or scenario, that’s what I'm doing, manifesting the ether, my ether. I enjoy sharing them, hopefully they, in some small way, interact with yours.
Download the free PDF from the store – maybe the easiest and best way to see the art. The version of the gallery on the website essentially looks like a web-store, which is not the ultimate presentation of art, but at least it’s transparent.
I want to say thanks to you guys, who take time to look, and maybe think about what I do. Certainly an artist without an audience is that solitary hand flapping in the wind.
Thanks to my Muses and see you on the 23rd!
