SOME AK
I loved making this comic, I loved the script by Joe Casey and loved how 99% of the world said what crap it is, blah blah, it felt like out secret world for time and we must be doing something right for that kinda response! Then im told the powers that be at DC finally got around to reading it and said wrap it up kids you suck and no one is buying it! Thats cool, makes it even better to me!
And yea I have asked DC for years for the reprint rights, though Joe and me supposedly had some rights in it, we have no say and no one at DC has any interest in helping me get the rights. sigh, maybe some nifty European company like before will get the reprint rights and I can do a new cover...
As an aside Joe and I started a spirtual sequal to AK, but like most great things it didnt turn out, I have 6 pages from it ( though Joe wrote much more and its all great )and i guess thats enough for a wake for AK!
