KITTY YOU FUCKER
So im workign on the boxes for the 16" Kitty releaees from UV, apart from designing the boxes the big fun for me is the drawing part, the Kitties!!!
For those who dont know, which I guess is many, Kitty is based on my first Fantastic Cat called Eddy, who was the inspiration for Kitty frist seen in Popbot.
Back to the drawing - using a fat caligraphy nib is rather cathertic, combined with the juicy ink, the flicks, the flams, the organic chaotic nature of metal scraping on paper where full control isnt gonna happen ( nor wanted ) adds to the experience drawing should be!
As an aside >> I get asked who is an influence etc, well here is one, Franz Kline, a really amazing artist and a big influence in the abstract.
